Monitoring and control system for engineering equipment
Equipment status, faults and an operating log in one window. You hear about a fault from the system, not from a tenant. Settings change remotely.

What the customer sees
One screen instead of walking round the panels. Access rights are set per site.
| Section | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Status | Current parameters and modes of each unit: what is on, what the temperature is, where it deviates from the setpoint. |
| Faults | A message at once and to a named person: what happened, where and when. The alert reaches whoever is responsible, not a shared mailbox. |
| Log | History of parameters and faults for each unit. It lets you review an incident afterwards, and the history can be exported to your own format. |
| Control | Remote change of setpoints and modes of the equipment. |
Equipment we cover
We work with automation already installed, from different manufacturers; new panels are not required for monitoring.
| System | What becomes visible |
|---|---|
| Ventilation and heat recovery | Unit operating mode, temperatures, state of the units, faults. |
| Heat substations and thermal units | Circuit temperatures, pump state, faults, history — it shows a fault developing before the stop. |
| Cooling: chillers, condensing units | Circuit operating parameters, faults, history of deviations. |
| Control panels | Panel signals and faults instead of a lamp on the door that nobody sees. |
How we set it up
We start with one important unit and verify the whole chain from sensor to the message to the duty person. Then we extend to the other systems.
| Step | What we do |
|---|---|
| 1. Survey | We see which units and controllers are installed and what they can report→ a list of monitoring points |
| 2. Faults and recipients | Together we define what counts as a fault and who is told→ an alert procedure |
| 3. Pilot on one unit | We bring the most important unit online and verify the whole chain→ a working system on one unit |
| 4. Link and autonomy | We choose the communication channel and test behaviour when it drops→ no data lost, history catches up once the link returns |
| 5. Extension | We add the remaining building systems or other sites→ one picture across sites |
Lead times
Indicative; the exact term is stated after the survey.
| Task | Time |
|---|---|
| One site: survey, setup, alert configuration, staff training | about 2 weeks |
| Fault monitoring on existing equipment | about 1 week |
| A network of several sites: one map, rights per site, summary reports | from 5 weeks |
What we need from the site
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Access to the site for the survey | to see the units, panels and controllers first-hand |
| A list of equipment and schematics, if they exist | to see where linking to existing automation is enough |
| The faults that must not be missed and who owns them | to set up addressed alerts |
| A communication channel on site: internet or mobile network | to send status and receive commands |
| One responsible person on the customer side | to agree access, rights and procedure |
Limits of the system
| Principle | What it means |
|---|---|
| Protections stay on site | Interlocks and safety protections run in the panel. The top level does not control them: if the link drops, the equipment keeps running on its own automation. |
| It does not replace servicing | It reports a fault and keeps the history. Repair and servicing of equipment is separate work. |
| The history is yours | Data can be exported, so reviewing an incident does not depend on us. |
Price
Calculated per site after the survey: it depends on the number of monitoring points, the equipment type and the communication channel. We state the price and scope before work starts.
Demo on request
We show the system on a task close to yours: how status, faults and the log look. Leave a request and we will agree a time.
